24 karat gold plated fittings
 
The current M.O.D regulation Royal Air Force Officers Sword features a Embossed 24 karat gold plated guard with the RAF Eagle and crown. The Grip is covered with genuine sting-ray skin, wrapped with gold plated twist wires.
Real rawhide leather scabbard, solid under body then covered in hand-sewn leather with 24 karat gold plated brass mountings with 2 attachment rings.
 
As Currently carried by Royal Air Force Officers of the Commonwealth; United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Canada etc.

Our blades are made from stainless steel for the longest lifetime and are easy to maintain.
 
The etching appears in a medium grey colour. Both sides of the stainless steel blade are finely etched.
 
All of our swords are made to strict quality controls, our steel is produced to Ministry of Defence specifications ISO 9001
All of our swords are made stringently to current M.O.D regulations and are ready to be carried on ceremony by officers of His Majesty’s Armed Forces and throughout the Commonwealth.
